Redux is a lot longer with deleted scenes. There's a French plantation and they meet the Playboy bunnies that are actually living in the helicopter.

Rocky Horror Picture Show
Been a long time.

Better watch both versions then eh?
Indeed it has been a long time for that one. I dont think ive seen that since primary school. Elementary school for you i think Ms Winters. Tim Curry scares me in that one.

Yes, watching both are a good idea. Even the original is very long, so ya may wanna space it out. I suggest the original first, then the redux.
Seeing as your age at the time, I could understand how Frankfurter scared you. Good thing it wasn't Legend. LOL
Yes, we call it elementary or grade school, but I know the term primary school too. :tongue5:
Not really a movie but watched a 2 hour Victor Borge stand up video. He was so funny and so musically talented.

I bet you'll really enjoy them.
Have you read Conrad's Heart of Darkness? The movie is actually based on the book, just in a different time, country, and type of occupation. But if you are familiar with the book you'll be watching Apocalypse Now and able to make connections.

Barnabas wanted me to add that the two main characters, Willard and Kurtz, mirror each other between the book and the movie.

I have heard of the book and i will keep an eye out for that too..

Watched Daddy Day Care last night (It was Mel's turn to choose) With Eddie Murphy in it. I must say eddie's murphy's movies aren't as funny as they used to be.. maybe if he did another stand up routine/movie.. like Raw and Delirious..Now they were good for a laugh.

I actually saw that movie too a couple years ago. It was okay, but I agree, not really so funny.

Watched The Fog again tonight.

Watched Hot Tub Time Machine last night, so bad it was good. Sadly I think that they missed a golden oportunity to really have some fun with the 80's!

oh i agree Dementi! The best part about the movie was the end credits! Motley Lue! Now that was awesome! Home sweet home! I love how they pretty much recreated the video clip!

"What colour is Micahael Jackson?"

"Black?"

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH"!!!!!!! Hilarious!

Dug out an old videotape that I had recorded off of the tv back when I was 16 from the old Creature Feature they used to have here. I think the movie is out of print so I'm really glad I kept it. It's actually a pretty good scare and an interesting story, even though the theme song could have had better dubbed lyrics. It goes, "La, la la la la la la la...". Really. The movie is an old Japanese one called, Attack of the Mushroom People.

Hey that's the movie that made Leslie Nielson famous! Long before he turned into a comedian.

Watched the A team on the weekend with my bro and it was a typical action movie but very well done a some really funny bits in it. If you were an A team fan of the tv series be bitterly disappointed like i was. But not too much cos i was really young when it was one.

Yes, that was it!
Used to watch A-Team back on the tube too and was wondering how the movie was.

Watch another favourite last night, John Carpenter's, The Thing.

Well, I do have a spare room. :D
If I still had that Doctor Who role playing game from the 80's, you'd never go back. LOL
My friend, Fish has a Doctor Who board game with lots of little cards and a huge map of the universe. You go on with the Doctor to a planet during a time period and have adventures. A short game of that can take about half a day. Also, we have the Call of Cthulu game, Pirates of the Caribbean dvd adventure board game and the Lord of the Rings board game from about 10 years ago.
We would have many games to play, films to watch, music to listen to, places to go, and stories to read.
You would love The Thing! Dear Mel would be hiding being the couch, but I'm sure you'd coax her out.

Yep, still can't die, too much to do.

Got a pre-rented one of the film that came out about a year ago.
Dark and creepy with icky monsters, 8) I do recommend it for scaring Mel. Heck, it made me check around the corner before going down the stairs.
